Recently renovated double room with large private bathroom on top (second) floor of a Georgian house close to Victoria Park. The room is furnished with a double bed, wardrobe, chest of drawers, desk and chair. There is also plenty of shelf space. Room dimensions are 5.1m x 3.8 m with a ceiling height of just over 2m.
The house is large (by London standards) and has few occupants - so is very quiet and therefore also suitable for hybrid workers. Shared use of a newly-installed kitchen is included, although only very light use after 10:00pm so as to not disturb the other (usually three) residents. The house also has a beautiful garden, which is overlooked from the room.
Transport links are excellent: Bethnal Green (Central Line, Zone 2) is a short walk away (3 minutes). Whitechapel (Elizabeth, District and Overground) and other Overground stations are also close by. The area is also served by a large number of buses, as well as a Santander bike docking station.
Bethnal Green is one of the most liveliest parts of London: there is a very large number of pubs, bars, restaurants and cafés; close by is Victoria Park, the largest park in the borough. There are also several local supermarkets and street markets, the latter including Broadway Market, Columbia Road Flower Market and Victoria Park Market.
