Renting out a room from Monday to Friday has huge advantages to a homeowner with space to spare. For most people, they’re looking to earn extra (tax-free) money, but don’t want someone sharing their home full-time - a MondaytoFridayer isn’t going to put their own pictures on the walls, dominate the washing machine and spend the weekend sprawled out on your sofa!

They know, and like the fact, that a MondaytoFridayer has a home of his or her own; that they’re not looking for a home, but a home-from-home.

But what else are MondaytoFridayers looking for? We asked people who’ve found their working week homes through MondaytoFriday.com.

• Clean, warm and comfortable:  Who wouldn’t want these things? MondaytoFridayers want to stay somewhere that is at least as nice as their own home.

• A fair rent with everything included: They’re only staying for 4 nights a week (sometimes less) so homeowners really can’t expect to be paid as much as they might be by a full time lodger. And MondaytoFridayers want all the bills included (electricity, wifi, Sky etc etc).

• A warm welcome: Whilst MondaytoFridayers may not be looking for a weekday buddy, they do want to feel welcome in their working week home.

• Good wifi
